Who We Are

We are a drug prevention coalition in Montevallo, Alabama.

 

Our coalition focuses on educating youth and adults on the risks of substance use. We collaborate and host community and educational events to provide fun substance-free activities for our youth and informational sessions on practical tips for parents to help encourage their children to make healthy choices.

Prevention is Key

The earlier someone starts using substances, the greater their chances of developing a substance use disorder (addiction). 90% of adults with a substance use disorder started using alcohol or drugs before they turned 18. (Source: National Institute on Drug Abuse)
